PACIFICON GAME EXPO 2013 – LABOR DAY WEEKEND – AUG 30 – SEPT 2, 2013
Rory Toma and the amazing Dwarven Forge Role Playing adventures will be back for the fourth in a series of adventures started here at Pacificon, and then continuing through the other major Bay Area conventions at Dundracon and Kublacon, before returning to Pacificon next year!
Special Guest Greg A. Vaughan will be returning as part of the Pathfinder’s Society’s terrific program. Next year, PFS will have its own room, and no doubt. Venture Captain Michael Azzolino and Pacificon’s PFS Manager Venus De Coy will have more surprises for the community!
Luke Gygax, son of the late Dungeons and Dragons co-creator Gary Gygax, will be a Guest of Honor at our show next year.
The Central Valley Wargamers will be on hand to present a series of large scale board games in the beautiful Sedona Ballroom outdoor patio! That same space will be used by our LARPers (since it’s decked out with space heaters and great lighting and fire pits!) for some larger night time LARPs, as well as a special Dinner LARP we have planned for Friday night!

We are happy to announce the addition of Curtis and Sarah Lyon, role playing adventure writers published by Savage Mojo, as our role playing industry guests to Pacificon! We will have one of our many individual role playing rooms set aside for a weekend of their adventures, as well as hosting them on a few panels and discussion sessions. Also, they will be available at some point during the weekend to autograph and greet their fans in the dealers room at Michael’s Games and Collectibles, which is presenting many elements of the Savage Mojo line of role playing products!

PATHFINDER SOCIETY (PFS) SPECIAL GUEST
We are proud to announce Greg A. Vaughan as a special Pacificon guest. Greg’s role-playing credits for the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game include Drow of the Underdark, Scepter Tower of Spellguard, Anauroch: The Empire of Shade, and The Twilight Tomb. He was written several adventures for Dungeon Magazine and Paizo’s Pathfinder and GameMastery lines. His Pathfinder work includes Pathfinder #11: Skeletons of Scarwall and Pathfinder #6: Spires of Xin-Shalast.

PACIFICON SIGNS HOTEL AGREEMENT THROUGH 2016
The Santa Clara Marriott Hotel is fast attaining legendary status (as did the Dunfey years earlier) as the best Labor Day weekend gaming convention hotel in the SF Bay Area. We are happy to report that we will be hosting our show there through 2016, and likely beyond. Pacificon Forever.
